Purpose of holding golf championship
It is one of the series of preparations by Myanmar Golf Federation to ensure Myanmar young golfers achieve a lot of success in 27th SEA Games to be hosted in Myanmar, help Myanmar golfers compete effectively in international golf tournaments and select young golfers with potential for the national team. The championship aims at turning out talent and potential Myanmar golfers to compete with international players.
Under the guidance of Myanmar Golf Federation and with the main sponsorship of Elite Tech of Companies, the second round matches for 2013-14 Myanmar Golf Series of Elite Tech Open Golf Championship 2013 was held at Danyingon Golf Course in Yangon from 14 to 17 May on a grand scale with the participation of the professional and amateur golfers.
Elite Tech of Companies handed over a Hiace Super Custom Vehicle and documents related
to the vehicle and presented K 2,000,000 to Myanmar Golf Federation.

The best players of the first day of the event were Min Naing (Srixon), Thein Zaw Myint (KM Golf Center) and Aung Hsan Win (I Win Golf Academy) with 70 strokes
The best player of the second day was Soe Kyaw Naing (Srixon) with 67 strokes.
The best player of the third day was Zaw Paing Oo (Taylormde) with 70 strokes.
The best player of the final day was Bo Bo (Srixon) with 67 strokes.
Patron of Myanmar Golf Federation Maj-Gen Win Hlaing (Retd) presented prizes to Myo Win Aung who won first prize with a four-day total of 297 strokes and Maung Maung Oo who won second prize with a four-day total of 289 strokes in men’s individual amateur event.
President of Myanmar Golf Federation and Myanmar Professional Golfer Association U Tay Za presented championship trophy to Thein Zaw Myint (KM Golf Centre) who secured first place with a four-day total of 282 strokes and runner-up prize to Hla Myo (I Win Golf Academy) with a four-day total of 286 strokes in men’s individual professional event.
